The Meet Group, Inc., a leading provider of interactive dating solutions, announced that on Tuesday, March 23, beginning at 1:30 p.m. (EDT), its Safer Dating Advisory Board members will be participating as panelists in a public webinar hosted by The Meet Group: Dare to Date: The COVID Vaccine and Dating Safety to answer daters’ questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and what it means for daters. The Safer Dating Advisory Board, along with The Meet Group’s SVP Marketing, Catherine Connelly, will discuss the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine, dating in person, and best practices to reduce the risk of transmission. Award-winning matchmaker and host of the Ask a Matchmaker Podcast, Maria Avgitidis, will be the special guest moderator for the event.
The Meet Group’s Safer Dating Advisory Board, formed in July 2020, is comprised of top epidemiologists and health experts, including Dr. Anirrudha Hazra, an internal medicine and infectious diseases physician certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Tali Elfassy, an epidemiologist and Research Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Dr. Melissa Sharp, an epidemiologist and postdoctoral fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
