What do you do if you go out on a first date with someone who you are not attracted to but possesses many of the things you are looking for in a relationship? Dating myths are all too present in the context of what we have been conditioned to accept -That is, if you are not initially attracted to someone, that relationship or experience will not be successful. Of course so often the opposite is true – you are immediately attracted to your date however your long term goals are not aligned or that relationship dissolves.
