This particular blog post is directed to people that visited Agape Match and then added me on LinkedIn.

I aimlessly accept most invitations I receive on LinkedIn. What’s interesting is that three out of four people that add me on LinkedIn are people I have never met. (…and because of the nature of my job, I meet a ton of people. Who the heck are you?!)

If you’re someone I have never net, I must ask, why did you add me on LinkedIn? Considering I have never requested to connect with someone I did not know, it seems sort of weird that you requested my connection but never followed up after the fact. Maybe you forgot. Maybe you thought I would reach out to you?

Until proven otherwise, I am going to assume you added me because you would like to learn more about my company and the services that I offer. Maybe you’re interested in using a matchmaker, but are unsure what to expect. Maybe you requested my connection because the word matchmaker amuses you. (I’ve been told by some that we have magic powers.) Well, here’s a couple of handy bullet points for your convenience:

  • Agape Match was founded in 2008. Long story: I set up a couple who got married and the groom announced that I “knew everyone”. I took on a bunch of his friends as matchmaking clients, and Agape Match was born. Short story: I’m a fourth generation matchmaker. It was meant to be.
  • Agape means love in Greek. 1 in 5 of my clients are Greek-American. The remaining are Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Atheist, Buddhist, or Hindu.
  • 60% of my clients work in finance, typically hedge funds or in investment banking. At any given point, there are three clients that currently work at Goldman Sachs that are using our services. I find this amusing.
  • Most of my clients live in Manhattan, but we work with singles in Philadelphia, NJ, Connecticut, Long Island, and Boston.
  • Agape Match acquired Mixology Matchmaking earlier this year, the leading LGBT matchmaking service.
  • When I work with a client for matchmaking, I provide recruitment of potential introductions, vetting to make sure they are solid matches, and full date- concierge. We set up the first and second date and provide feedback.
  • 85% of my clients enter a successful relationship through our services. Successful is defined as dating for more than 6 months.
  • I also provide date coaching, which is an amazing way to empower a client to be their own matchmaker. We have a twelve session program to get our clients dating differently and more effectively. This has a 90% success rate.
  • You can book a consultation with me and receive a Personal Dating Strategy Plan by clicking here. Through our consultation, I will be able to better assess if we can work together and which program is best suited for you.

If you didn’t add me because you’re interested in my services, message me and tell me why. I’m dying to know!
