Dear reader,
Have you always wanted to do our Agape Intensive but prefer to do it in real life? Join us for our In Person Intensive in NYC this March 7-10 2024.
The Agape Intensive in Real Life (IRL) is ideal for those who want to learn how to reconfigure their mindset to decrease dating fatigue and attract happy and fun dating experiences. Maria will give you the tools you need to understand your own chemistry and compatibility and give you the tools to reverse engineer your search for your person.
The Agape Intensive in Real Life (IRL) includes personality typing and communicating your temperament to attract the person right for you, understanding the pillars of compatibility, and a crash course in Attachment Theory and how our past dictates our patterns in dating. It concludes with a session in marketing yourself online and offline to increase your social networks and opportunities to help you meet the right person.

One of my favorite hotline questions was whether a good relationship requires a shared sense of humor.
37-year-old Lee, who is in the early stages of dating, met a guy who is the “whole package.” He’s kind, consistent, and shares her values, but there’s one thing missing… They don’t make each other laugh enough.
She wants to know whether this is a dealbreaker or if she just has a scarcity mindset.
This was a perfect question… because my guest was comedian Gianmarco Soresi. (Go check out his Instagram and TikTok🍻)
As a comedian, Gianmarco believes that, yes, you need to be able to entertain each other in a relationship. Life is too hard not to laugh with someone!
As a matchmaker, I tend to agree. A shared sense of humor is a sign of intellectual compatibility. BUT…there may be an opportunity to supplement what’s missing. If you haven’t laughed enough, try doing funny things together. Go to a comedy club once a week. Watch a funny movie. Take an improv class. See what happens! As time goes by, you’ll know.
He did a fantastic job answering this week’s hotline questions and offered some hilarious comedic takes. We discuss:
  • A Twitter fight between Gianmarco and The Rock
  • Gypsy Rose’s newfound fame
  • How to filter dating apps for people who want kids
  • What to do if your sibling is marrying someone you don’t like 😬
Watch the full episode on YouTubeSpotify, or Apple. Remember to like, comment, and give us a five-star review! ⭐️ AND keep an eye on my Instagram for future hotline dates.
